Today (Tuesday 23 March) marks one year since the UK first went into lockdown, and since then many lives have sadly been lost to Covid-19.

People are invited to reflect on and hold a minutes silence at midday to remember friends, family members, colleagues and loved ones who have died and to support those who have been bereaved.

The Keeping Well Service was one of the first in the country to be set up as an immediate response to the pandemic to support the psychological wellbeing of NHS and social care staff including volunteers, London Ambulance service, staff providing care to others in the community and in care and residential homes.

Since then we have helped over 800 individuals with their mental health and wellbeing, mostly needing support with anxiety and depression.

We are here to support you, we offer flexible immediate advice and support, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a trained mental health professional through the dedicated website.

It’s understandable to feel anxious, worried, emotional or tired. You can speak to us confidentially for help, we offer rapid ways to access support through:

  • a live online chat with a wellbeing professional
  • self help resources with webinars/guides/apps
  • the option to request a call back
  • a number to call to speak to someone directly
  • an online self referral form
